Linea di Contatto was founded in 2009. We are an engineering company specialised in the design of railway electric traction systems. We are constantly looking for innovative solutions to improve the services we offer and the efficiency of any connections made.
We are a group of engineers and surveyors united by our passion for the rail and tramway sector. Our different expertise, experience and professionalism allow us to design specific solutions for every need.
Our expertise
We exclusively handle the design of railway electric traction systems and the relative support structures.
Railway lines
To make railway links more efficient and modern, we design two types of line: traditional 3 kV direct current electric traction and high-speed 25 kV alternating current lines.
Tramway and metro lines
Designed both on existing specifications and by developing the details of the construction design, from the type of catenary system to the support structures, using different types of masts (trellis, polygonal, with standard profiles, etc).
Traction substations
Designed for 3kV D.C. and 25kV A.C. railway lines, developing the details of the design for the electromechanical, plant and calculation parts of the grounded circuits.
