The route in question is about 19 km long: it stretches for the 2nd section from the Telese system to the San Lorenzo double slip switch system for a distance of about 11.3 km and, in particular, runs underground for a total length of about 4.6 km through four natural double-track tunnels; it stretches for the 3rd section from the San Lorenzo double slip switch system to the Vitulano system for a distance of about 7.9 km and, in particular, runs underground for a total length of about 2.9 km through three natural double-track tunnels.
