This new project system has the following features:
ꞏ Single track lines with 3 kV D.C. electric traction, connecting the stations of Civitanova Marche (km 0+000), Montecosaro (km 7+452), Morrovalle (km 12+811), Corridonia (km 21+722), Macerata (km 27+181), Urbisaglia (km 34+246) Tolentino (km 45+605), S. Severino (km 55+593), Castelraimondo (km 67+149), Matelica (km 74+246) and Albacina (km 86+587); ꞏ 3 kV D.C. power supply of the overhead lines, through the ET cabins of Civitanova Marche (km 0+000) and Albacina (km 86+587), and the Traction Substations of Montecosaro (km 7+700), Urbisaglia (km 34+145) and Castelraimondo (km 66+650);
ꞏ Maximum gradient the same as the current 36%;
ꞏ Minimum curve radius of 215 m;
ꞏ Subsequent maximum cant up to 160 mm;
ꞏ Maximum length of the track transition curves compatible with the track speeds;
ꞏ The track speeds used are between 60 km/h and 115 km/h;
ꞏ To carry out the electrification of the Civitanova Marche - Albacina section and its functions under the regional conditions described above, you need to carry out supplies and jobs organised into construction macro-phases where the ET equipment set-up can be carried out in different areas and at different times across the section in operation.
